Rachel Allen Counseling is looking to add therapists to our team to serve LGBTQIA+ clients dealing with trauma, dissociation, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. We are committed to quality, evidence-based care for marginalized populations, and as such take insurance. We are also committed to environmental justice, and as such do not use any AI tools. This is a virtual position starting as part-time, with potential for full-time.
Licensed Therapist (Texas-based)
Job Responsibilities:
10 to 25 clients per week
Complete all notes in a timely manner
Adhere to Texas legal and ethical standards
Adhere to Rachel Allen Counseling PLLC policies and procedures
Communicate with established clients about scheduling if needed
Reliable technology and WIFI for virtual sessions
Qualifications:
LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Texas (not taking other license types at this time)
Experience and passion working with LGBTQ+ Clients
Personal Malpractice Insurance
Availability for at least 10 client hours per week primarily evenings and weekends
Willing to work with dissociative disorders including DID (training will be provided)
Willing to take insurance (practice will take care of all credentialing)
Willing to work with teens (12+)
Preferred Candidates Will Be:
Specializing in OCD/compulsive disorders, eating disorders, or substance abuse
Dually licensed in Colorado
Organized, Independent, and Proactive
Experienced in multiple levels of care
Strong assessment, diagnosis, and interpersonal skills

60/40 split of client hours, with potential for 70/30 split after first year
2 weeks (unpaid) time off without needing approval
100% virtual with possibility for hybrid in Grapevine, Texas
Fully taken care of marketing, insurance credentialing, billing, and initial paperwork and scheduling
No crisis counseling or on-call hours
